The Business Support Centre in Lviv is organising the Creative Economy Days on 23-24 November, with the support of the European Bank for Research and Development (EBRD) and the EU4Business initiative.
With a focus on industrial design and the fashion industry, the main purpose of the event is to contribute to the creation of a broad market with deep links in value chains (with healthy competition, different working models, categories and a developed ecosystem).
According to the organisers, the ecosystem of creative industries is gradually evolving, but there is still a lack of interaction in a number of value chains, and there are no agencies that develop and help promote design decisions, fablabs, where designers can realise their concept, etc.
The event is aimed at:
• Representatives of production companies engaged in the manufacture of furniture, interior items, packaging and FMCG
• Clothing and food designers
• Creative agencies
The Lviv Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, which aims to improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. It also supports BSOs in 15 regions of Ukraine in setting up a network of EU4Business Business Support Centres (BSCs). At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
