Changes, challenges and opportunities for export will be in focus at the East Export Forum organised by the Kramatorsk Business Support Centre in Ukraine on 8 November, with the support of EU4Business.
The Forum is aimed at increasing the competitiveness of local SMEs on foreign markets, in particular the EU market, informing businesses about the advantages and potential of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, as well as the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada.
It is organised by the Kramatorsk Business Support Centre with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), under the EU4Business initiative.
The agenda of the Forum is divided into three sections:
- "Changes" devoted to changes in the economy of the country and the region. Representatives of the Ukrainian authorities will talk about the positive changes and the importance of exports for the development of the country's economy.
- "Challenges" will be organised in a panel format, in which experts will make short presentations on the problems encountered in the course of export, and answer questions from participants.
- “Opportunities” to inform participants about the opportunities open to existing and potential exporters in the region.
The Kramatorsk Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, which aims to improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. It also supports BSOs in 15 regions of Ukraine in setting up a network of EU4Business Business Support Centres (BSCs). At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs benefit from the project.
