A workshop on techniques for building a decisive competitive edge in business is being held in Dnipro on 19 July. The workshop is organised by the Dnipro Business Support Centre together with the EBRD as part of the EU4Business initiative.
The workshop has been developed to discuss the basic principles of creating a decisive competitive edge. It includes the following issues:
- key differences between Theory of Constraints (TOC) as a method of managing business and traditional approaches;
- value supply: concept, essence, examples and methodology of development;
- definition of company policies and market paradigms that causeundesirable phenomena for company’s clients.
The workshop aims to provide ready-made cases of decisive competitive edge (DCE) for different types of business and to show the principle of DCE development within the principles of TOC.
The Dnipro Business Support Centre is part of the EU-funded Network of Business Support Centres, implemented in Ukraine by the EBRD, with the aim of improving improve the competitiveness and bankability of Ukrainian SMEs through the provision of business advice and capacity building. At least 30,000 SMEs and entrepreneurs will benefit from the project.
