Consultants need to build their competences, exposure and networks to provide SMEs with high-quality paid services, a conference in Tbilisi heard
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) hosted an international conference of consulting professionals in Tbilisi from 3 to 4 November, as part of the EU4Business programme. The Aim of the “Competitive Consulting 2016” conference was to assist consultants in building their competences, exposure and networks to provide high quality services that the small and medium-sized enterprise sector is ready to pay for in the long term.
The conference featured plenary sessions from leaders in the consulting industry and the business world. The speakers explored global trends in the sector and new challenges in the industry and the region. The event included detailed break-out sessions to examine new techniques, models and approaches for agile consulting, which combined experience and innovation.
Competitive Consulting 2016 brought together consultants from 40 countries, from a wide range of markets, as well as several international consulting firms interested in engaging with local partners. It also held a seminar on effective proposal writing.
