The second platform of the Eastern Partnership focuses on economic integration and convergence with EU policies. Partner countries and representatives of the European Union institutions come together in December for their sixteenth meeting.
The one-day conference takes place on 6 December and the programme includes:
- a presentation of key political developments;
- preparation for the Eastern Partnership Summit in 2017;
- a session on social and solidarity economy.
The platform is one of four thematic platforms set up under the Eastern Partnership. Each platform meets twice a year.
